Audio from this week's show in which we talk about how we might work together to build resources related to using Drupal for content management. We are encouraging people to leverage freely available resources on the web and to share these with others. As an example, Take Drupal for a Test Drive and Lullabot were two resource sites mentioned this week.

We're also encouraging interested parties to produce Jing Project screencasts of particular "issues" they are experiencing.

Drupal itself also offer a growing repository of information. As an example, we've recently had questions about errors with the getid3 module (it automatically "gets" the information in the ID3 tags embedded in MP3 files re artist et al.) and a search of the term reveals we're not the only ones, as well as some "solutions" and "workarounds" the community has applied to the problem.

Peggy George, Darrell Garrison and Lorna Costantini chat about how they are going to try and learn how to use drupal. The audio is an amusing recording of three self directed learners trying to find the best approach. Any one can join them. Watch for more sessions on the calendar. The atmosphere will encourage all kinds of questions. Hopefully some one in the group will have an answer!

One of the small annoyances of Drupal 'out of the box' is the fact that the admin menu isn't expandable. Here are a few modules that create expandable admin menus

• Simple Menus

Cathy E and I are working on some small issues so we thought we would start a new forum to get answers and help. Please jump in and add anything you want to this forum.

Several technology bumps in the road during this "All in the Family" web cast, but what fun it was! We laughed, we cried when we lost the stream, we Yugmad! We also fixed the Worldbridges.net Drupal installation (looks like Jeff forgot to turn off the audio module before he upgraded it), talked about a few interesting modules (linked here) and began helping out Drupal Newbie Barb with her Matodor site. Can't wait to see her progress next week!
