I am very interested in taking the class on Elgg.  First I want to learn all about the user functions, then I want to learn the hosting side.  Please tell me where to sign up?

Here is my first issue.  I now have 3 blogs using Elgg:

One just random thoughts - not necessarily education based on elgg.net

Second one on elgg.educationbridges.net (more of a place to get teachers to share ideas)

Third one on cmsacademy.net/elgg (I want to learn how to use this Learning Landscape)

But do I need all 3?  Are they all tied together somehow?

My next question is...do I have to have my picture beside every post?  I don't mind having it once on a page - but several time is a little much :)

I don't think the spell check is working on the Elgg site.

I'm aware that one can set the access permissions on "artifacts" uploaded to a particular installation of Elgg. My question is: can you (if you're not the moderator) change these permissions once they are set? For instance, can a make a folder "public" after I've generated it as "private"?

Is this something that only the moderator of a specific installation is able to do?

If so, how does one (who is not a moderator) access the "properties" of a folder to make such a change
